
STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIE BOWL

Whether fuelling post-workout or looking for something sweet and refreshing to kickstart your day, it's hard to go past a simple, classic smoothie bowl. Packed with juicy strawberries, creamy banana, and a splash of your yoghurt, this recipe is blended to create thick, spoonable perfection, ready to be topped with all the crunchy, fruity goodness your heart desires.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup (140g) frozen mango
- 1/4 cup (60g) coconut water
- 1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
- 1 serving Greek fat-free yoghurt
- 1 tbsp unsweetened toasted coconut flakes
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1/2 medium banana
- 1 cup (152g) strawberries (halved)
Serves 1
Method:
- Blend the Base: In a high-speed blender, combine the strawberries, frozen mango, coconut water, protein powder, and Greek yogurt (if using). Blend until smooth and creamy. If it's too thick, add a bit more coconut water to reach your desired consistency.
- Pour the smoothie mixture into a bowl.
- Arrange your toppings on the smoothie bowl. For an extra touch of sweetness, drizzle with honey or maple syrup.
- Serve immediately while cold and refreshing!
